Meet Amy, (Chadwick)

She’s one of those girls that could easily make you feel a little inferior and self conscious because she is so very good looking, and EXTREMELY photogenic.

But once you have a chance to get to know this stunner, all of that fades away. As cliché as it sounds, her beauty is not only physical but soulful too. I think this really shone through in our photo shoot.

Taken on a harbour-side rooftop in Kirribilli on an unseasonably warm day, I walked away a little sunburnt and mega stoked to shoot such a rad girl.

I watched Woody Allen’s film ‘Annie Hall’ a week before and was all into the “manstyle” dressing, which is one of the major influences for these shots. Come to think of it, I’ll always wear a button down, man-style pants/jeans when I’m in a bit of a style rut: its a classic thats hard to do wrong.

This is Jasmine, and you would not believe this was her second shoot. 

At the young age of 15, I can already tell this girl has a stunning future in the modelling world. What really makes her stand out is that she’s Aussie at heart and yet has managed to pick up an adorable South African accent, not from living there but from her friends at school.

Personally I love her cheekbones and how minimal make-up was needed, she RADIATES youthfulness, which became my inspiration for this shoot. So carefree and openhearted, a shining symbol of what being 15 is all about…

Fortune Alley

 i entered into the MIMCO Dreamwarp Style Society Comp www.dreamwarpsociety.com.au with the first image. please take the time to vote for me in the comp.

I wanted to create two looks, one of opulence and over the top capitalism, and then a  communisim feel but still glamourous look for the second.

lady luck can be found in fourtune alley, sometimes she is easy to spot and sometimes she is disguised in a conservative dress, with only hints of her true wealth.

I love the gate in the second look. AH-Mazing! 

Such a great day, was the first time work with Jess and Garreth but definately not the last!
